2008 Can Be The Year of the Beauty Gadgets

It’s just in front of us - look at it. Technology moving at such a rapid speed that we just can’t keep up anymore! There’s Wii, constant improvements on iPods, Macbook Air just after the newly improved Macbook, oh, I just can’t mention everything here anymore!

Zara Rabinowicz writes about 2008 possibly being the “Year of the Beauty Gadgets” as she is overwhelmed by the entries of various, numerous beauty gadgets in the market. True, the beauty industry does not come up with beauty gadgets as fast as the consumer electronics industry does, but is actually gaining momentum!

As for my list of beauty gadgets that I’d want the beauty industry to come up with,
here’s my list :

1. A beauty gadget that dries nailpolish instantly.

2. A beauty gadget that gives out heat that instantly minimizes pores.

3. A beauty case that houses makeup brushes and keeps it sterilized.

4. An advanced software that will help you mix and match the eyeshadows, lipstick, and blushes that you have. ( heehee how ambitious , but heck, everything is possible now! )

5. A scanner that can be used by the consumer that it beeps when skin is not thoroughly cleansed during the end of the day.

6. A moisture-meter on the skin. Or a beauty gadget that seals in the moisturizer and helps it be absorbed more.

7. A more advanced foot spa machine that all the dead skin would come off after one soak :))

8. A beauty gadget that removes facial hair. ( upper lip, perhaps? )

I’ve been thinking about what I’d want in terms of hair gadgets but I think the advancement has been amazing enough that I have to think extra hard on what to wish for! Haha!
