Beauty Gizmo News : The New Spinlash Mascara

by Sophia on April 30th, 2008

spinlash mascara

Finally, there is one product that promises to address the issue of clumping mascara on our lovely lashes. It’s called SPINLASH, by Akasha, and works with the tagline, ” the first mascara that revolves around you.”

SPINLASH™ is the first mascara that revolves around you with a brush that gently rotates 360 degrees in both directions to apply mascara on both the upper and lower lashes. Patent pending SPINLASH™ comes in either black or brownish black mascara – or you can use SPINLASH™ with your own brand. The gentle motion of the rotating brush removes clumps with every turn while it separates, coats, lengthens, and volumizes your lashes. Get perfect lashes every time! Suitable for contact lens wearers and not tested on animals.

The SPINLASH set includes a wand that has a synthetic mascara brush ( without the mascara ) that rotates in two directions, plus a SPINLASH Mascara that you can use with it. You can also use your chosen mascara to work with this beauty gadget. It’s either you hook the SPINLASH mascara on the SPINLASH tool, or you just apply your mascara first before using SPINLASH to declump and make your lashes prettier.

SPINLASH iz available nationwide at Target, and retails for $14.95.

I’ve been testing it for a few days and I haven’t really gotten the hang of it . I will update everyone on how this goes.

I totally love your blog, thanks so much for all the product reviews and info you post here. I already tried a few products you recommended and the spinlash mascara is also my fav. The other day I stumbled upon this blog: http://chiactivate.wordpress.com anyways, the people there claim that this face massager thingie makes anti-aging and skin care products up to 70% more effective cos it allows them to penetrate deep into the skin. My question is: have any of you experience with this or a similar product? Does it work or would you recommend me to try it out?

Please remove the link if it’s against your blog policy. i don’t want to advetise for them, but rather have an expert’s opinion about it. ty so much!!!
