Beauty Gizmo Review : Anastasia Brow Anonymous Kit
Now that I’m in makeup school, I think there’s absolutely no excuse that I will show up in public with whacked brows, may they be overplucked, underplucked, or even just all messy.This time, it’s a mixture of all three. Hahaha!
Thank God, I was given a chance to try Anastasia’s Tweezers Anonymous Kit. This kit is geared towards overplucked eyebrows that need some “cover” and nourishment as they grow back again!
The Tweezers Anonymous Kit includes three sets of stencil-adhesives for the eyebrows, Nu Brow Serum ( for nourishing the brows ), mini duo brush, and a dual-ended brow filler crayon.Everything fared well, like any brow product would ( the brow filler crayons worked great and looked all natural, the brow serum is yet to be proven effective since I haven’t applied it enough and the brush is quite alright ),but the spotlight of this review is the stencil adhesives from the kit.
I was surprised that instead of acetate-like stencils, the stencils were in “sticker” or adhesive form. In fairness, it proved to be quite easy to use because you will be able to stick it on your brow and just “fill-away” using the brow crayon. It’s quite a challenge to keep them both even, so you might want someone to “stick” the stencil adhesives and make sure that they are placed both evenly on both brows. Otherwise, it’s a joy to use - the brow shapes in the stencils are just great and give fantastic-looking results. My brows never looked so pretty, before, that led me considering to get their stencils. My only gripe is that as soon as the adhesive wears of, do we need to buy more adhesives? I hope that in time, they’d be able to come up with acetate-like stencils, or just place those adorable white Anastasia stencils in this kit so that they can be reusable! But then, it’d be more difficult to “position” to make sure that the brows would be filled exactly the same. Oh well, it’s a tradeoff really!
