Foot scrubbing’s a must-have for me. I got this ritual from my mom who would obsess on scrubbing her feet every night before she goes to sleep. I don’t think it’s a culture thing, at least for me!
The feet’s just the most harassed part of the body as it is the most exposed body part to the elements, much worse, to the ground which accumulates the most dirt. You can wash your hands, your face by the end of the day, but with feet, it has just got to be more than cleansing - there’s alot to clean, and they should just be scrubbed. I would be just horrified to sleep with traces of dirt on my soles! ( would give me nightmares! )

Use as a mat, apply some liquid soap on the feet, step on it, then just rub each foot , one at a time, on the surface. Voila, just cuts my bedtime bath time by a fraction!
