Eyebrow Grooming/Shaping Tutorial

For those who want to whip up their tweezers and try to groom their brows on their own, here’s a great tutorial from Michelle Phan ( whom, I think, comes up with amazingly helpful beauty videos ).

I like this tutorial in particular because it is pretty simple, and demonstrates via video what books have been illustrating. In my opinion, this video made it easier for me to better understand those countless books and instructions that I’ve read about eyebrow grooming.

The result of her brows are great. Well-groomed brows, and definitely not too thin. I cannot stress the importance of not overplucking for it’d be real hard being dependent on the eyebrow pencil for temporary filling until hair grows back.

I just noticed that Michelle plucked her eyebrows in such speed that I think, is twice as fast as how I usually do it. Well, the white pencil really helped!

To end, I’d like to share a tip with you. Make sure you do your eyebrow grooming right after taking a shower for the skin’s still soft and pores are open - grooming would be easier, as the hair gets plucked quite easily. Also avoid grooming your brows during your monthly period as it would be more painful that time. Do you have other eyebrow grooming tips? I’d love to hear from you!
