Jane Iredale’s The Handi Brush

As a mineral makeup afficionado, I breathe, and eat mineral make up for dinner. Kidding aside, Jane Iredale is one of the luxury mineral makeup brands that shines, and shines with its ultra glamorous packaging that would be suspected to be created by King Midas, and of course, we are not being too shallow to swoon on the packaging, aren’t we? The quality is great, too. I have a number of friends who definitely worship the brand.
Anyway,we’re not talking about mineral makeup per se, but we are talking about, Jane Iredale’s Handi Brush! At first sight, I fell in love with the portability of this brush. Even though it is not retractable in nature, it is small enough and slim enough to fit in your purse, and it is housed in a transluscent plastic case. When I got the brush out from its case, I was awed on how it was poised to be a flat top brush despite its size. Despite the popularity of new synthetic brushes that are really, really soft, I still have my personal choice to have animal hair for the make of my makeup brush because of how it picks up pigments very well. The Handi Brush is of animal hair, and it is absolutely the softest and luxurious feeling mini flat top brush that I have ever tried. The pickup is wonderful as well - it could pickup pigments from loose minerals and even the pressed powder variant of Jane Iredale.
Overall, the $39 pricetag is all worth the splurge with this precious Handi Brush. The brush being hand-tied will guarantee that shedding would be minimal, and it would be the ultimate multi-purpose brush for applying foundation, applying blush ( just right for your cheekbones ), applying shimmer powder and even finishing powder.
Ooh, makeup brushes are just love! They’re my favorite beauty tools of all time!
