Microdermabrasion in a Piece of Cloth
As a big fan of exfoliation and microdermabrasion, I think I’ve tried various stuff already - product wise, Nu Skin Exfoliating Scrub is a great twice-a-week habit, while their famous Nu Skin Polishing Peel offers instant microdermabrasion in a tube. Beauty gadget-wise, I’m about to review the Neutrogena in a few weeks, and what I have here right now is pretty interesting - microdermabrasion in a cloth.
I’ve been checking out mineral makeup sites, stumbled upon Sheer Miracle and I was able to find a beauty cloth called Miracle Peel Cloth,
Our Microdermabrasion Cloth, the Miracle Peel Cloth;, combines microfibers with a unique new weaving process. The result is a material that has phenomenal exfoliating capabilities for your skin. This material is proven to exfoliate dead skin cells, remove cosmetics, oil and dirt. It can also significantly reduce or even eliminate acne! All with out the use of harsh chemicals.
Our Microdermabrasion Cloth is so beneficial that it rivals costly clinical skin peels in effectiveness. It can be used anywhere on your body - acne, acne scars, fine lines, age and liver spots, callouses and even stretch marks. (However you want to avoid sensitive skin areas such as the eyelids and genital areas.)
Well, this is a pretty interesting concept. I’d like to try one of these soon as my friend claims that it effectively removes her blackheads everytime she uses it. I just hope that it isn’t abrasive, since its purpose is to get rid of a thin layer on the skin for the purpose of cell renewal everytime.
Has anyone tried this? I’d love to hear from you!

I use a microfiber cloth, which might not be as abrasive, but certainly gets the job done. I figured out that the expensive ones are pretty much the same as the microfiber dusting cloths I’ve seen, so I use one of those with water in the shower. It works really well.

I use the cheaper version of the cloth too. You can so long as it says, 80% Polyester and 20% Polyamide. That’s what the more expensive ones on the market for the face are made of. The dusters will work the same as the pricey facial cloths do so long as they are the above fiber grade of 80%-20%.
