Nail Art at the La Vista Bazaar
Last weekend, my partner Cristine and I were in for another event - The Mineral Makeup Weekend, Part Two at the La Vista Bazaar. We were with other brands such as Blusche, Bare Escentuals, and Micabella set up in a cozy tent apart from the other bazaar concessionaires that sold bags, clothes, and other gift suggestions for Christmas. In our country, bazaars are huge as the Holidays draw near because you can get the best bargains, as well as unique gift ideas there. Believe it or not, people really flock to the bazaars more than they would do to the malls since malls are pretty much cramped anyway for this month. Heck, even one of my clients went to three bazaars in a day ( and thanked her mom immensely for driving for her!Haha! )
Going back to my story, the stall behind me was my new friend Tita Cora’s stall, selling Micabella Mineral Makeup. Her grand daughter Dani, who was in third year highschool, was giving away flyers, and we read, “Nail Art.” Wow, it was very entrepreneurial for a young lady slash figure skater like Dani to be offering nail art services during the bazaar. Impressive. Cristine got the lucky strike as Dani offered to do her nails, and here are some pictures,

When Dani started working on Cristine’s nails ( Cristine’s such a lover of nail art and anything nail related haha! ), she whipped up her “nail art kit”, and my good friend Phoebe took a picture of the set Dani used,

It had “templates” for shapes, and as you swipe nail polish there, you use this certain tool to swipe off excess nail polish on the template, and in the end, you get the stamp, press it on the template, and proceed to transfer to your nail the nail art. Cool, isn’t it? Dani worked her magic on Cristine’s nails and stamped on dainty white flowers. Cute!
I never thought nail art would be this easy! Kudos to Dani for being resourceful at such a young age!
Super thanks to photographer extraordinaire Phoebe Ramos for saving the day by taking fabulous pictures for this entry! :)
