Recently, I have grabbed hold of this major beauty gadget. From the box, til I opened it, I still could not believe that I am going to try a tourmaline hair iron - because in my lifetime, I would like to think that I have progressed with the evolution of the hair iron ( at least, within my generation! ). I’ve used the hair iron when it was at its rawest state - loved it til I saw my hair get damaged. Upgraded to ceramic hair iron and felt the benefits and progress, that it did not damage my hair, but my hair frizzed horribly when I used it damp. Now, the best right now is the tourmaline hair iron - which promises no frizz, silky shiny hair, even to be used when wet!

One priced-down makeup brush brand that I trust with all my hard, that can save me from my MAC Cosmetics brushes addiction is the brand Sonia Kashuk. They’re not too expensive, but they perform really, really, really well!
The Sonia Kashuk Powder Brush has a unique curvy handle ( very much like a woman’s curves hehe! ), and the bristles are made of animal hair ( I’d think this is made of goat hair ). The brush is very soft, picks up good amount of product, and while I have been reading that it sheds a bit, I always make room for “shedding period” for brushes that is reasonable enough - well, I think the shedding of this brush is reasonable enough - for 2-3 washes.

I gotta say, I love, love, love my Tweezerman slant tip tweezers in pink. It’s the best I’ve ever tried, and it works well. I don’t think I would be switching brands soon! Heck, I even put it inside my pocket sometimes! Haha!

…and this picture is absolutely correct.
Lately, I have wondered why my precious blending brushes have been “flying away.”
Turns out, my friend Aileen’s nifty idea is the solution to the problem. The really really correct way to dry brushes is well, drying them upside down! I tried doing this at home, and voila, my blending brush was back to its normal adorable self!
Have you tried this already?

…well, it was my birthday after all! I had the liberty and license to splurge, and good thing that I was given a chance to buy my MAC brushes at a discounted price from someone who gets them, I think, from the U.S.!
With me are my new MAC Brushes, a MAC 227 Large Paddle Eyeshadow brush perfect for those one-sweep eyeshadow applications, a MAC 263 Angled Liner Brush for lining those eyebrows to perfection and applying eyeliner with ease and precision, and a MAC 252 Shading Brush which is a dream when it comes to applying MAC Paintpots and emollient-based products.
I dream, I dream to collect all the MAC brushes possible. One day, just one day!

…just because my friends know I love brushes!
I was able to score a MAC 224 Blending Brush, a MAC 209 precise eyeliner brush, and a bottle of MAC Brush Cleaner as a birthday gift from a dear friend!
Whoopee! I think I’m bent on collecting the MAC brushes but who’s complaining? They’re magic wands and help me perform really well!
