Synthetic Brushes From Lumiere = Lurv
When Lumiere announced their pre-order that offered super low prices of synthetic brushes, I was excited to get some for myself ( specially a synthetic retractable brush that I would want to bring along with me in my bag ), but then I totally forgot about it and ordered last minute - Alas, I’m still waiting for them since it’s a first-come-first-served basis!
Aileen , my beauty blogger friend, on the other hand, was able to order early, and get them early, and let me just say that I am mega-envious! Lookie, lookie,

Synthetic brushes give a luxurious feel to the skin when swiped, and it guarantees no scratches on the skin. Some still prefer animal hair though, I have observed while selling makeup brushes during bazaars, but alot of people are starting to prefer synthetics because of the softness of the brush. After all, what’s good about them is that they work wonders when used wet. They glide flawlessly on the skin with cream blushes and liquid foundations.
Interesting finds in Aileen’s entry is an angled fibre optic brush for applying blush. Wow, fibre optic or dual fibre brushes are quite becoming popular nowadays because of the amazingly flawless finish they give. I even saw a fibre optic kabuki sold in another online store, but that’s another story.
