Travel In Style With Marc Jacobs Vanity Cases

I know, I know, I’ve featured items from Daisy Marc Jacobs twice in a row, but please forgive me as I just saw them now and I am totally gushing about them! I would love, love, to get them all because they are simply too cute!

Since I pack pretty much heavy during trips ( I’m Miss High Maintenance! ) specially in skincare and makeup, I am thinking if I should get one of these :

Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Treasure Beauty Case

It’s a cute and very compact beauty case that has divided sections that can help me organize my always-disorganized-in-pouches pots of mineral makeup. I’d love to bring it around with me as it is tres fashionable and chic. Sigh. For $40, it’s not bad, I’m almost on the verge of clicking checkout. BUT.

The $80 Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Luxe Vanity Case is so precious that if I were to get this, it would make me feel just like royalty. Muy classy, muy classy. Two drawers, three trays, and two foldout pockets. Just enough to make me feel alright about packing heavy. It makes me feel like a moviestar packing for my “shoot.” Haha.

Gosh, I am just so attracted with the really pretty logo for the Daisy Marc Jacobs line. Help!

Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Cushy Brush Set

marc jacobs daisy makeup brush

The Daisy Marc Jacobs line that is exclusively sold at Sephora is a real charmer. First, it’s golden yellow - it’s one heck of a cheerful, sunny color. Second, the daisy logo is just too adorable for words. If I would see someone with the Daisy Marc Jacobs Pour Sephora Cushy Brush Set , I would think of her as really feminine and refreshing, with her choice of design.

Epilators, Anyone?

To be honest, epilators are not so popular in my country. The mostly used method of hair removal are waxing and plucking. I did not even know what epilators are before someone asked me to try epilators!I’ve a review about a certain brand of epilator brewing up, and before I have it up, I would like to ask my readers - do you use epilators, and how has it fared on you?I’d love to hear from you!

Working With The Good ‘Ol Hair Iron

Just because I haven’t found the time to buy a nice hair dryer yet, and I probably would not be able to learn as fast as I could like those in the salons who are so skilled with using the hair dryer, I am sticking with my hair iron right now.For some idea on why I need my hair iron, my hair’s poofy, thick, and even thick stranded.

I am dead envious of my mom’s fine hair that her hair is effortlessly “rebonded” and so easy to maintain, as opposed to mine that I have to “flat-out” everytime before I get out of the house.I am also a person on the go, that means that I want really quick fix-me-ups. I’d love to use the hair dryer everytime, but I haven’t had any luck in making it work for me just the way I want it ( I am planning on seriously trying to learn about it. ). For twice in a row, I’ve had my hair rebonded in a salon for a wash-and-dry, low maintenance hair that I loved. But as it wore off, I actually felt a little bit lazy to go to the salon again, and I haven’t had much time lately, too.

The hair iron is the best bet for flattening out my poofy hair, because it’s much easier to use than the hair dryer, but the thing is, I have to let my hair completely dry before using it, or it’d be such a disaster. I don’t find Wet to Dry Straightening Irons all appealing because I’m scared my wet hair would be burned with the immediate heat of the iron, as we know that hair is most vulnerable when wet. ( Even if they give us assurances, I still don’t like the idea! )

Here are some tips to make hair iron work best with your hair:

Beauty Gizmo Review : Ecotools Foundation Brush

foundation-brush.jpg

When I received my Ecotools makeup brushes, I jumped in glee because they are just very very soft, and luxurious-feeling! They feel like feather tickling the skin from their softness, and I’ve been using them lately for I don’t feel like using animal hair brushes in the midst of summer heat - just irritates my skin more.

The Ecotools Foundation Brush is somewhat in between two worlds - it is too big to be considered a concealer brush, but it is somewhat a little bit small to be foundation brush that I’ve been accustomed to which is a wee bit bigger than this.

Reasons Why I Like Tweezerman Tweezers

tweezerman tweezers

I remember a few months ago that I’ve purchased my first ever pair of Tweezerman tweezers - in pink! I’ve been intrigued on how it is held at a high pedestal and considered such a legend. I’ve long denied myself this brand thinking that I can make do with less expensive counterparts, and just now, as I had some extra money to shell, I decided , once and for all, to try it and see for myself if it’s newfound awe and affirmation that Tweezerman is indeed a legend, or just a plain whine that it’s simply overrated and overpriced. Well, here are my pros and cons.

I’d like to start with the con

–It’s expensive. $25.00. Okay. It took me a while to convince myself to give this a shot. For the record, my past tweezers were Revlon ( priced at $5 - $ 6 ) that fared well on me actually, and LaCross ( priced at $10 ) that I considered not so good because it wore down quite easily, and did not do a great job in plucking stubborn brow hair.
